Poort Lyceum
I attended the Havo at Poort Lyceum, where I followed the E&M (Economie en Maatschappij) profile. This program focused on subjects like economics, history, and social sciences. In addition to the standard curriculum, I also took German as an extra course, which strengthened my language skills and broadened my international perspective.

Intership
During my internship at Omroep Almere, I contributed to the visual side of media content, such as social media posts, promotional materials, and on-screen graphics. I worked closely with the editorial team to translate news and local stories into clear, engaging visuals. This internship taught me how to design quickly and effectively within a fast-paced media environment, while staying consistent with the organization’s style.

Ruitenheer
Intership
During my internship at Ruitenheer, I worked on various design tasks that contributed to the company’s visual communication. I supported the team with creating marketing materials, updating internal documents, and developing visuals that matched the brand’s identity. This experience helped me improve my design skills, work more efficiently with feedback, and understand how to adapt creative ideas to a professional environment.
Skills & Expertise
InDesign
I have experience creating professional layouts for print, such as brochures, magazines, and flyers. I’m confident in working with grids, paragraph styles, and multi-page documents to ensure everything is structured and consistent.
Illustrator
In Illustrator, I focus on vector-based design. I’ve made logos, icons, and custom illustrations. I enjoy working with shapes, typography, and clean lines to create visuals that are both scalable and polished.
Photoshop
With Photoshop, I’m skilled in photo editing, retouching, and creating visuals for web and social media. I work efficiently with layers, masks, and effects to enhance images and build creative compositions.

As a Media and Design student focused on Graphic Design, I’m exploring how creativity and technology come together to shape powerful visual content. This website presents a selection of both school assignments and personal projects that reflect my growth, creativity, and eye for detail.
Before diving into design, I completed the Havo at Poort Lyceum with a focus on the E&M (Economie en Maatschappij) profile. Subjects like economics, history, and society shaped my understanding of the world, while choosing German as an extra subject helped me strengthen my language skills and expand my perspective.
So far, I’ve completed two internships. At Ruitenheer, I worked on various design tasks such as creating marketing materials, updating documents, and designing visuals that aligned with the company’s branding. This experience taught me how to handle feedback, refine my work, and stay organized in a professional environment.
At Omroep Almere, I focused on designing visuals for social media, promotional content, and TV graphics. Working closely with the editorial team, I helped translate local news into engaging and accessible designs. This internship challenged me to think quickly and stay creative under time pressure.
I’m confident using tools like InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. In InDesign, I’ve created brochures, flyers, and magazines always paying attention to layout, grids, and consistent styles. Illustrator is where I bring logos, icons, and clean vector work to life. In Photoshop, I focus on editing photos and developing visuals for social media.
This portfolio represents what I’ve learned and created throughout my studies. Looking ahead, I plan to keep designing on the side helping others communicate their ideas through visuals that are both creative and professional.
